Project Deliverables

Enhanced Scenes (MP4 or MOV)

I was telling a friend how I had evolved my skill set to include motion design and how I was working with international clients and on international brands. He immediately said he has an opportunity for me. I was skeptical at first because I rarely take on jobs from friends but when he described the project and ensured that I would be paid before the start of the project I was convinced.

Overview

The Mission of NDPC is to advise the President of the Republic of Ghana (and Parliament on request) on national development planning policy and strategy by providing a national development policy framework, preparing and ensuring effective implementation of approved national development plans, and coordinating economic, and social activities country-wide in a manner that will ensure accelerated and sustainable development of the country to promote continuous improvement in the living standards of all Ghanaians.

NDPC tasked a colleague of mine who at that time was searching for a motion designer. NDPC wanted to create a video to present to the President of the Republic of Ghana and Parliament on the future development goals of the nation. This video was also to be on the government website to showcase to the world what plans Ghana had to attract foreign investment.

My colleague was leading the creative team tasked to refine the animated PowerPoint video the government officials had created to be turned into a world-class video. Due to the copyright structure of this project, I am not allowed to share the process of how I got to the final enhanced videos. I can however showcase the before (PowerPoint videos) and after (my videos) scenes.

The project was on a tight deadline, so I had to work swiftly with the creative team to deliver. Luckily my design brain is wired to design thinking. I was able to swiftly go through the key steps to ensure the end user fully experiences the video in a great way. Find below some of the before and after scenes and the provisional video.
